As a 2013 graduate of the Master of Science in Leadership Development (M.S.L.D.) graduate program at Wright State University, Carey Kaufmann has quickly advanced in her professional career.

Amos earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in 1976 and Master of Business Administration degree in 1984, both from Wright State University.

Congresswoman Joyce Beatty graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Central State University, received her Master of Science degree from Wright State in 1975, and completed all but her dissertation for a doctorate at the University of Cincinnati. She also has received two honorary doctoral degrees from Ohio Dominican University and Central State University.

Louis Cannon graduated in 1984 from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University. He is a former Judith Volkman scholar-in-residence who has been repeatedly honored as one of “America’s Top Interventional Cardiologists.”

Mary E. Leal, M.A., began her career as Fairborn, Ohio's first female police cadet in 1971.

The Alumni Association recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of Wright State alumni at an awards ceremony during Homecoming weekend. The outstanding individuals, selected from a pool over 100,000 Wright State alumni, are recognized for numerous accomplishments in their chosen fields.

Caroline Cao received her PhD in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2002. She is Professor of Biomedical, Industrial and Human Factors Engineering at Wright State University and Ohio Research Scholar in the Ohio Imaging Research and Innovation Network, a consortium of three universities in the State of Ohio (Wright State University, Case Western Reserve University, and the Ohio State University) for the creation of intellectual property, commercialization, and job creation in Ohio in the field of medical imaging through research and education.
