The size of the Wright State University Alumni Association has grown to more than 100,000 graduates.
All degreed alumni who have earned an associate's, bachelor's, graduate, or professional degree from Wright State (which includes graduates from the Boonshoft School of Medicine and School of Professional Psychology) are now members of the Alumni Association with the rights and privileges based on their level.
As a result of graduating from Wright State, all alumni are members of the Association. Those who graduated and have given a gift of $50 or more to any college, scholarship, or department on campus are considered Gold level and receive a higher tier of benefits and recognition.
All alumni are members and receive affinity opportunities and benefits. Benefits include, access to the Alumni Career and Business Network, alumni events, access to the alumni online community directory, and more. View alumni benefits.
Alumni who make a tax-deductible donation of $50 or more cumulatively in a fiscal year (July 1–June 30) to any of the hundreds of Wright State University funds are eligible for Gold membership. Gifts can be spread across several funds to reach a minimum donation. To become a Gold member, make your donation by clicking the button below.
Gold members are eligible for premium benefits, including access to the Alumni Zone at men’s home basketball games, a WSU Barnes and Noble Bookstore discount, and more. View Gold member benefits
****Gold membership cards are mailed out every September, just once per year. If you have made your donation and need your Gold card sooner than expected, this will require special processing. Please call the Office of Alumni Relations at (937) 775-2620 to request your card earlier.
Life Gold Members
In 2014, the Wright State Alumni Association membership model shifted from a dues-paying model to a non-dues paying model. For life members who joined prior to the model conversion, much remains the same. You are Gold for life. The opportunity to purchase life membership was discontinued in August 2014. Wright State University Heritage Society Members, cumulative lifetime giving of $10,000 or more, include friends (non-alumni) are also now Gold, however they would not be eligible for Wright State University Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship or to vote for Alumni Association board members.
