Wright Brothers Day celebrates the innovative spirit of Wilbur and Orville Wright and university researchers Oct. 2 in the Student Union Atrium.

Wright State University’s We Serve U, an organization committed to transforming the communities we serve, is hosting the 3rd annual Volunteer Fair on Sept. 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Atrium.

Change in delivery propelled Joe Smith to the Big Leagues. Former Wright State pitcher has had successful career with the Mets, Indians and now Angels.

As a 2013 graduate of the Master of Science in Leadership Development (M.S.L.D.) graduate program at Wright State University, Carey Kaufmann has quickly advanced in her professional career.

Amos earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in 1976 and Master of Business Administration degree in 1984, both from Wright State University.

Congresswoman Joyce Beatty graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Central State University, received her Master of Science degree from Wright State in 1975, and completed all but her dissertation for a doctorate at the University of Cincinnati. She also has received two honorary doctoral degrees from Ohio Dominican University and Central State University.

Louis Cannon graduated in 1984 from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University. He is a former Judith Volkman scholar-in-residence who has been repeatedly honored as one of “America’s Top Interventional Cardiologists.”
