Dawne Dewey is Head of Special Collections and Archives for the Wright State University Libraries in Dayton, Ohio. She has worked in the archives since 1989, and has been the department head since 1997. She received her B.A. in History and Anthropology with Honors from Wright State University in 1980 and her M.A. in Public History from Wright State in 1984. Dawne has written numerous articles, delivered presentations, and created exhibits on a variety of Wright Brothers related topics.

Wright State University recognizes its college outstanding alumni each year. Ten honors were awarded on March 1, 2014, during the 15th annual College Outstanding Alumni Awards. These individuals represent some of the best and brightest in their fields and are a tribute to the education they received from Wright State.

It's a great time for Dayton and the Latino community. Wright State has created the Office for Latino Affairs, the first of its kind in the state of Ohio, and an alumni society, Amigos Latinos de Wright State Alumni is in the process of forming. Tony Ortiz, associate vice president for Latino Affairs, along with the founding members of the Amigos Latinos de Wright State Alumni have already been hard at work with plans for an annual gala.

Wright State University is among the top third of universities worldwide in faculty research productivity in the field of industrial organizational (I-O) psychology, a new study shows.
Wright State ranks No. 20 out of 62 universities with I-O psychology Ph.D. programs, according to I-O psychology researchers at Auburn University. The findings were published in The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, the newsletter for the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology.
