Delores Etter ’70, ’72
The sons and daughters of our nation’s heroes are now one step closer to attaining their college degrees, thanks to a new scholarship established by two-time Wright State University graduate Delores Etter and her husband, Jerry.
The Delores and Jerry Etter Scholarship will help students in the College of Science and Mathematics or the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
Wright State graduate environmental sciences student Alison Agather and oceanographer and Wright State alumna Katlin Bowman sailed the Arctic Ocean to measure levels of toxic mercury.
Kyle Young has taught music and direct band programs at Fairborn High School, Mason City School District and Carmel High School in Indiana.
Chris Heeter says his his English degree from Wright State gave him the discipline and skills needed to run his company.
Ann Weisgarber '76
Award-winning author Ann Weisgarber, a 1976 Wright State University graduate, received the 2016 Alumna of the Year Award. The award was announced at the Alumni Achievement Awards Ceremony hosted by the Wright State Alumni Association.
Dennis Geehan has volunteered at Habitat for Humanity, Dayton Foodbank, Project READ of Dayton, United Rehabilitation Services of Greater Dayton and K12GalleryandTEJAS.
