With Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday being major staples of the holiday season, a campaign has been started aimed at pairing a national day of giving along with these traditional shopping days that kick off the holiday season.
Giving Tuesday is December 3, 2013, and in the same way that retail stores take part in these shopping days, we want the giving community to come together for #GivingTuesday. Giving Tuesday is a campaign to create a national day of giving at the start of the holiday season. It celebrates and encourages charitable activities that support nonprofit organizations. The Wright State University Foundation is looking to jumpstart this campaign at Wright State with a new Fund4WrightState initiative.
