2012 Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Alumni Society Award of Excellence recipient Nina Carter

Nina is employed by Miami Valley Child Development Centers, Incorporated, as Program Manager for the Edison T.O.T.S. (Taking Off To Success) Program, an early learning initiative that supports families with raising happy and healthy children who enter school ready to learn.  

She has worked in the field of youth, family and community development for seven years.  Nina received her Master’s degree in Public Administration in 2006, a BA degree in 2004 in Mass Communication with a minor in African/African American Studies, and national certification in Nonprofit Management and Leadership---all
