Why did you choose to become a Raider?
I chose to attend Wright State to stay close to home.
How has Wright State prepared you for your post-grad plans?
I worked with Wayne Stark in Workforce Development as a part of the Center for Liberal Arts Student Success to help me put my resume together.
What is your favorite Wright State memory?
My favorite memory would have to be winning Homecoming Royalty last Fall!
What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus by far is the Bolinga Black Cultural Resources Center. It is my home away from home.
What student organizations or activities have you been involved in at Wright State?
I made a lifetime commitment to serve my community by joining Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority, Inc. I was also a member of Black Women Striving Forward. Although I was never a part of the Raiderthon or Relay for Life Organizations, I enjoyed motivating students to participate in them as a team captain.
What will you miss the most about Wright State?
I will miss planning events for the student body.
What was your biggest accomplishment while at Wright State?
My greatest accomplishment hands down is TO BE A GRADUATE! I overcame so many obstacles including being a single mother and changing my major more than once.
What was your favorite class you took at Wright State?
It’s a tie! African American History from 1619 to the Present, taught by Natasha McPherson and Urban Youth, taught by Christa Agiro!
What advice do you have for underclassmen?
Don't let anything stop you! Don't be afraid to ask for help!
