Alumni Association Awards - Nomination Information
The Wright State University Alumni Association recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of our alumni on an annual basis at an awards and reception presentation. These outstanding individuals are recognized for achieving numerous accomplishments in their chosen fields. In addition to possessing high standards of integrity and character, they have also given their time and talent to benefit the Alumni Association.
Award winners are celebrated at Homecoming every fall. Nominations are accepted throughout the year!

Award Information
This program enhances the image of Wright State University and the Alumni Association by displaying achievement. Alumni involvement is through nomination and a committee selection process.
Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award (Green Award)
The Distinguished Alumni Award is presented to Wright State graduates who have attained a significant level of achievement in their chosen field. Nominees should demonstrate a positive impact on a local, state, or national/international level be of high integrity and character. They extend their commitment to quality, knowledge and dedication to Wright State University.
Graduate of the Last Decade Award (Gold Award)
The Graduate of the Last Decade Award (formerly the Recent Graduate Award) recognizes the accomplishments of Wright State alumni who have graduated within the past 10 years. These alumni have quickly excelled in the various aspects of life by demonstrating outstanding accomplishments in their professional careers; impressive volunteer service; and/or noteworthy involvement in professional and service organizations.
Volunteer Service Award
The Volunteer Service Award is presented to alumni who donate their time and talent to the development of Wright State University and the Alumni Association. Recipients are also recognized for their volunteer service and /or their involvement in professional and service organizations.
African American Alumni Society Award of Excellence
The African American Alumni Society Award of Excellence is presented to alumni who have attained a significant level of achievement in their chosen field, and have demonstrated a positive impact at the local; state, and/or national/international level.
Athletics Alumni Award of Excellence
The Athletics Alumni Award of Excellence is presented to alumni who have attained a significant level of achievement in their chosen field, and have demonstrated a positive impact at the local; state, and/or national/international level.
International Alumni Society Award of Excellence
The International Alumni Society Award of Excellence is presented to international student alumni who have attained a significant level of achievement in their chosen field, and have demonstrated a positive impact at the local; state, and/or national/international level.
Social Work Society Alumni Society Award of Excellence
The Social Work Society Alumni Award of Excellence is presented to alumni who have attained a significant level of achievement in the field of social work, and have demonstrated a positive impact at the local; state, and/or national/international level.
Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Alumni Society Award for Excellence
The Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Alumni Award for Excellence is presented to Nonprofit Leadership Alliance alumni who have attained a significant level of achievement in the nonprofit field, and have demonstrated a positive impact at the local; state, and/or national/international level.
