Here's your chance to help revive one of our most beloved landmarks!
Our campus is built on a solid foundation of bricks, stone, mortar -- and people. Now you can use a single brick to mark your place in Wright State University history.
Any of you have fond memories of the tower that adorned our main entrance for so many years. A scaled replica of the original campus entry sign, formerly located at the intersection of Colonel Glenn Highway and University Boulevard, has been relocated to the "circle" behind the Student Union and the Medical Sciences complex. A generous gift from the WSU Alumni Association made this project possible. The replica is now known as Alumni Tower and serves as a historical marker commemorating that early symbol and important landmark.
For a contribution of $200, you may purchase a 4X8 brick paver, or for $500, an 8X8 brick paver. Each paver, personally inscribed to commemorate your graduation, remember a loved one, or celebrate WSU, will be placed around Alumni Tower to form a plaza and allow you to take your place with your classmates, fraternity or sorority members, family, friends, faculty and staff.
Your name will become a visible part of a setting that will inspire students as they follow in the footsteps of those who have gone before them. Attractively designed, the plaza will be a natural gathering spot for reminiscing about the past and dreaming of the future.
