What we can do for you...

The Office of Alumni Relations provides broadcast e-mail services, e-mail design, alumni data requests, event/reunion planning services,  digital newsletter creation, and more, all at no cost to colleges or departments. This complimentary service is offered to create the best professional marketing and communications materials specifically for Wright State alumni.

Our goal is to create vehicles for colleges and departments to communicate with their alumni efficiently and effectively. Our more than 100,000 alumni live in every state in the U.S. and in more than 80 countries around the world. We want you to be able to communicate with them in a way that will engage them. We're here to make you look good.


Email Request Procedures

The following is an explanation of what is required to initiate the process for emails to be sent to alumni email groups.

Before proceeding, please review the Office of Alumni Relations' Alumni Broadcast E-mail Policy.

Timeframe

The Office of Alumni Relations' Alumni Broadcast E-mail Policy requires 10 business days in order to prepare emails. 

To initiate the process, please fill out the  Broadcast Email Request Form online.

For full-length e-newsletters, additional time is required. For the first newsletter, please allow 4 weeks for initial design and concept development. Once design and organization has been established, future newsletters require 2 weeks production time.

 E-mail Distribution List

It is important to determine who the audience will be for the email. Alumni lists are generated from our internal database, managed by the Office of Alumni Relations. It is the most up-to-date database for alumni on campus. 

For each e-mail, a list of alumni recipients with specific ID numbers will be uploaded to our e-mail system.

Please DO NOT send an alumni e-mail independently to your own departmental list. It is not accurate.  If you would like to provide your own list to run concurrently with our alumni list, we'd be happy to do so. It can be provided to us in the following Excel spreadsheet format: e-mail/first name/last name.


Event Planning

The Office of Alumni Relations will assist alumni special interest groups, alumni of student organizations, and alumni of schools/colleges and departments to host various affinity events and reunions.

If you are interested in planning an affinity reunion or an event, we will work with you and your committee to provide the support and tools necessary to make for a successful event.
